As previously indicated, if your player needs to go to a different session, all you have to do is email Trey Frahler, our baseball director, to let him know that, and which session your player wants to attend instead. (To be clear--you do not need to tell us if your player is attending your player's assigned session or not, you only need to tell us if you want to change). You can do that every single week if you want. The only limitation on open hitting and pitching is that your player should attend no more than one of each per week (again, just to keep the groups small enough to be as useful as we want them to be). Trey's email address is trey@illinoisbaseballacademy.com.
UNIFORM FITTINGS WILL TAKE PLACE WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 1, 2023 THROUGH SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 2023. PLEASE MAKE SURE TO ATTEND ONE OF THE SESSIONS DURING THAT TIME PERIOD TO GET FITTED FOR YOUR UNIFORM.
Congratulations to NTF Alumni Sammy Nigro, who followed up on his MVP season with the Wilmette Waves by committing to play baseball at Colby College, and Noah Shapo, who followed up his MVPitcher season with the Wilmette Waves by committing to play baseball at Denison University.
Way to go, Sammy and Noah, and we look forward to watching you finish your NTHS career next summer and move on to college baseball.
Sammy and Noah become the first two players of the NTF Class of 2020 to commit to play college baseball. With Charlie Hahn (NTF Class of 2021) heading to University of Chicago this fall and Henry Wolfe (NTF Class of 2021) heading to Elon this fall, that makes 8 players in just the last 3 years from our 14U program to earn college baseball commitments.
